Help / FAQ

VPNQN FAQ

Find steps for issues with your account, connection, routes, or billing. Identify the symptoms first, then open the relevant answer. If you need personal assistance, submit a ticket through the service dashboard.

Account & Subscription

Account & Subscription

Check your account details and subscription status first, then troubleshoot importing it into your client. Your subscription is available in the service dashboard. When switching devices, use the same active subscription; there’s no need to copy settings one by one from your old device.

Does VPNQN require an email address to create an account?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Remember your username and keep your password secure; you’ll need both to sign in to the service dashboard, view plans, and manage your subscription. If you’re just comparing plans, you can read the plans page first and decide later whether to visit the dashboard.

Where do I find my subscription after payment?

Sign in to the service dashboard and open Account Overview to check your subscription status. Then use the dashboard link to retrieve your subscription and import it into your client. Don’t share subscription details on public pages or use someone else’s subscription as your own. If no active subscription appears in the dashboard, check your order status first, then submit a support ticket through the dashboard with the details.

How do I update my subscription link?

Find your current subscription in the client and use its update or refresh option, then reopen the server list. If the list hasn’t changed, check your subscription status in the service dashboard and make sure the client imported the latest details provided there. Updating refreshes the server list; it doesn’t mean you need to purchase another plan. If the import fails, include the error message in a support ticket.

Do I need to buy another plan when I switch devices?

You don’t need to buy another plan just because you’re changing devices, as long as your subscription is still active. VPNQN has no limit on the number of devices connected at the same time and supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. Sign in to the service dashboard on your new device, follow the instructions for your platform to get a client, and import your subscription. If you no longer use the old device, remove the subscription there to avoid confusion with your server settings.

Connections & Troubleshooting

Connections & Troubleshooting

“Connected” is the client’s status; actual access also depends on your local network, proxy mode, and app settings. To troubleshoot, first work out whether all websites are affected or just one site or app. This helps avoid repeatedly changing settings that aren’t relevant.

The client says connected, but websites won’t load. What should I do?

Try opening other websites to see whether the problem affects one site or all traffic. Then switch servers and check that the client’s proxy mode suits what you’re trying to do. If only your browser is affected, check its proxy settings and extensions. If several apps can’t connect, reconnect and update your subscription. When submitting a support ticket, include your device platform, server name, and the error message you see.

Why isn’t a specific app using the proxy?

First, check whether other apps can connect through the current server. If only one app is affected, check whether per-app rules are enabled in the client and whether that app is set to connect directly. You can also briefly switch to a mode that routes all traffic to compare. After changing rules, fully close and reopen the app so new connections use the updated settings. Check the app’s own regional restrictions separately.

What should I check if my connection keeps dropping?

First, see whether your local network is also dropping. Then check whether your device’s sleep or background-management settings are pausing the client. Keep the client running, try a server in a different region or with a different route type, and update your subscription list. If disconnections happen only on a particular network, note the network and approximate times. Include these details in your support ticket; they’re more helpful than simply saying you can’t connect.

How do I troubleshoot a failed subscription import?

Retrieve the current subscription from the service dashboard and import it using a method supported by your client. Don’t edit the subscription details manually. First check your account and plan status, then see whether the client reports a format or network error. If you’ve already imported the same subscription, try updating the existing entry instead of adding duplicates. If it still fails, include your platform, the client’s error message, and the step where the issue occurred in a support ticket.

Speed & Routes

Speed & Routes

VPNQN covers 110+ countries with 230+ routes. When choosing a server, start with the region required by your destination service, then check how it performs on your network. Servers in the same region may use different route types, so choose based on what you need to do.

How do I choose between IEPL, relay, and direct routes?

Start by choosing the region required by the service you want to use, then compare route types. IEPL, relay, and direct routes use different network paths; none is guaranteed to be the fastest in every network environment. For long work sessions, compare connection stability. For region-specific content, check the platform’s own region and account rules too. Results depend on your network, device, and the service you’re accessing.

What can I do about buffering during peak hours?

Check whether large downloads are using your local network, and try lowering the video quality to see whether bandwidth demand is causing the buffering. Then update your subscription and compare different route types for the same destination region. Don’t judge performance by the region name alone. If several websites are slow, note the time, selected server, and device platform, then contact support for help troubleshooting.

Which region should I use if an AI tool is unreliable?

Check the tool’s supported service regions and account rules, then choose a server in a suitable region. If the site loads but your session drops, try to keep the same exit region throughout the session instead of switching servers frequently. Also distinguish sign-in issues from connection problems: note the exact error, selected region, and steps leading up to it to help determine whether a route change may help.

How can I check whether a route is actually working?

Check the apparent location of your exit IP before and after connecting, then see whether DNS results match your connection setup. Test with the app you actually need to use. A connected status in the client alone isn’t enough to confirm everything is working. If your browser works but one app doesn’t, check per-app rules first. If the exit region is unexpected, verify which server is selected.

To explore covered regions and route types, see the server list. For region-specific content, check the platform’s own account and region rules too.

Billing & Refunds

Billing & Refunds

Monthly plans and data packs use different data rules, so consider how often you’ll use the service before choosing. Check payment, plan changes, and refunds against the relevant order in the service dashboard. If you need help, submitting a ticket with the order details makes it easier to explain the issue.

What data allowances are available with monthly plans?

Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Data resets monthly on the date your plan starts. Choose based on how you expect to use the service, not just the price. Check the service dashboard for current plan details and ordering information. To compare plans, you can read the plans page before visiting the dashboard.

What’s the difference between a data pack and a monthly plan?

Monthly plan data resets each month on the date your plan starts. Data packs remain available until used and never expire. Data packs are available at ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. The right option depends on how often you use the service: compare monthly plans for regular use, or look at data packs for occasional use. Check the plans page to compare how each option is measured.

How is a mid-cycle monthly plan upgrade calculated?

When you upgrade a monthly plan mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days, while data still resets monthly on the date your plan starts. Before upgrading, check your current plan and the displayed change details in the service dashboard, then decide whether to continue. Data packs never expire, but that rule doesn’t apply to monthly plans. If the order details don’t match your understanding, submit a support ticket to confirm before proceeding.

Which payment methods are supported, and how do I request a refund?

VPNQN accepts Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT, and offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund policy. To request a refund, sign in to the service dashboard and use the support ticket option to provide the relevant order details and explain your request. Watch for a reply to your ticket. If you can’t access the dashboard, first check the username and password you use to sign in. Don’t post order or account details in public comments. See the refund policy for the full terms.

See the Plans page for plan details and the Refund Policy for refund terms. To get help with an order, contact support through a service dashboard ticket.
